“The SAVIOR of the NEW GENERATION”
One of the strands that are being criticize by others are HUMSS STRAND. HUMSS enhances the students’ knowledge and proficiency on subjects specializing in Social Sciences and Languages. This strand offers specialized subjects such as: Creative Writing, Creative Non-fiction, Trends, Networks, and Critical Thinking in the 21st Century Culture, Philippine Politics and Governance, Introduction to World Religions and Belief Systems, Community Engagement, Solidarity, and Citizenship, Disciplines and Ideas in the Social Sciences and Disciplines and Ideas in the Applied Social Sciences. HUMSS strand will strengthen the skills for those pursuing tertiary degrees in Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, and Education.
If you wanted to be the fighter of dignity and justice you can be a lawyer. If you wanted to be the savior of this country you can be police. If you wanted to be the hero of this new generation you can be a soldier. If you wanted to write without any judgement from others you can be journalist. If you wanted to share legit news its either bad or good you can be a reporter. If you wanted to manage and talks about the economy of a country you can be an economist. If you wanted to travel around the world without any expenses you can be a geologist. If you wanted to go back in the past you can be a historian. If you wanted to know each and everyone personality be a psychologist. If you wanted to lead and erase all those cancers and toxic in the society then be a politician. If you wanted to be the educator of a million people around the world to share wisdom and knowledge and be a parent of a million students then choose to be a teacher.

HUMSS means Humanities and Social Sciences where in it is one of the Strand in Academic Track for Senior High School. We all know that we are now in K to 12 Curriculum, this strand was designed for those who wants to become teacher, lawyer, reporter and etc. that is related on social sciences. We’ve experienced a lot of being humanista. We’ve experience to be criticize by others due to their wrong assumptions.
MISSION AND VISION
This concept papers mission is to inform another strand that HUMSS is not as basic, as easy, or as lame as other student from other strand think. A HUMSS student also experiences struggle and problems to survive senior high school not just sitting pretty because we don’t have to compute for different equations or we don’t have to memorize formulas. We also wanted to eradicate the discrimination that is happening on our strand which is humss. We wanted to share and highlights what are the things that only HUMSS student can do.
This concept vision is to stop strand shaming that is happening in humss strand by show casing its uniqueness and greatness to other people .
